I’m doing Camp NaNoWriMo April 2021!

So, I’m doing Camp NaNoWriMo this month. I have picked up my project from 2016, and will pretty much rewrite the whole thing. Keeping elements, of course, and essence of the main character. But all-in-all it needs a redo.

Even though I registered at the NaNoWriMo webpage in 2006 (I can be found as lunacia over at the website), 2016 was my first year to actually win a November NaNoWriMo. It’s in general easier to win a camp, as you set your own goal.

My goal is 3,000 words, which is an average of 100 words per day. This fits me, personally, much better than the average of almost 1,700 words you have for the November 50,000 goal. When I rush it, it turns out really, really crappy. Taking it slowing gives me time to pause and think. I tend to write more than 100 words when I sit down, but not every day. Also, should I have a bad day where I can’t write, it’s not the big setback. I never know when the migraine strikes…

How about you, are you doing Camp NaNoWriMo this April? Are you taking part of NaNoWriMo at all?
